How long does a restring take?
Usually within 24 hours. If you need it back sooner, message Kal on WhatsApp and ask.
How much does a restring cost?
From £20, with the string included. The price depends on the string you choose, and the full list is on the prices page.
Can I post my racket to you?
Yes. Kal restrings rackets posted from anywhere in the UK and posts them back. Pack it in a sturdy box with a note of your name, phone number and the string and tension you want, and send it to Racket Stringing Hub, 48 Lake View, Doncaster DN4 5NQ. Ask Kal for the return postage cost.
What tension should I choose?
If you are not sure, choose Kal's recommendation and he will set it for your racket and your game. Lower tension gives more power and comfort, higher tension gives more control.
How often should I restring?
Strings lose tension and elasticity over time, even when the racket sits in your bag. If you play regularly, restring at least every couple of months, or sooner if the strings feel dead or keep breaking.
Do you fit grips and fix grommets?
Yes. Kal fits replacement grips and overgrips and replaces broken or worn grommets. Ask him for a price.
Do you string racketball rackets?
Yes, as well as tennis, badminton and squash. Message Kal for a racketball price.
Can I bring my own string?
Message Kal on WhatsApp first and he will tell you the price for stringing with your own.
